Today was Mesopotamia Day at Providence. Avery dressed as Hera, the wife of Zeus and goddess of women and marriage. More information on Hera can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hera. We loved her costume!
Today, Providence Christian School had their Spring 2012 Picnic. We all attended and had so much fun. Avery had her face painted as a pirate. Shiver-Me-Timbers!
Connor is playing his third season of soccer this Spring and his second season with his buddies from Providence. They are undefeated this year (compared with winless last Fall). Connor doesn't care about wins and losses, because he is too busy having fun!
Today, our neighborhood association hosted an Easter Party (yes, I know Easter is next Sunday...). Avery got her face painted as a unicorn. Connor won the cake walk. Both had a lot of fun with confetti eggs. Happy Easter!
Four or five years ago, while visiting Dama, Avery found a box turtle in the backyard and painted a white letter "A" on its shell. This week, Connor found the same box turtle in the same backyard (the letter was a little faded) and touched up the letters. I guess turtles don't migrate very far.
Today, Connor had his first soccer game of the 2012 season. As you can see below, Connor was very determined. His team won, 3-2. Connor and his friends had so much fun.
