Today, connor performed at Zilei Leite's annual music recital. Connor played Coconut Shuffle by Faber and Ode to Joy by Beethoven.

Piano Recital

On October 18, 2015, Connor performed "Blue Danube" and "I've Got Music" at a music recital. We think he performed magnificently!

Hockaday cheer camp

This Friday, we picked up Avery from Hockaday cheer camp, where she learned cheers for St. Marks. Avery is happy and we are excited for her.

Connor's First Lacrosse Game

Today, Connor played his first lacrosse game. Although it was new to him, Connor played great and had a lot of fun.

Providence Soccer Playoff Game vs. Parrish Episcopal

Today, Avery and the Providence Soccer Team played their first playoff game vs. Parish Episcopal School. They were tied at the end of regulation and remained tied at 0 - 0 after two overtime rounds. Eventually, the game was decided on penalty kicks and Providence won 3 - 2. Everybody was so happy and so proud.

Connor's Basketball Game

Connor played great in his basketball game today. He played point guard and did a terrific job dribbling, passing and shooting.

2015 Turkey Trot

Today, Avery and Daddy ran the 8 mile 2015 Turkey Trot in downtown Dallas this morning. Running 8 miles was a great way to get ready for Thanksgiving.

Second Grade Soccer Game

Today, Connor had a make up soccer game versus Armstrong Elementary's second grade boys team. It was a hard fought game between two excellent teams . Providence won 2-1 and Connor scored a goal! He was so happy and excited.

Connor's Baseball Game

Today, Connor and the Providence Patriots First Grade Boys played the Indians in Chamber League Baseball. Connor hit a single, a double and a triple. Playing defense, he made several critical outs for his team. Connor loves baseball.

Connor Sings in the Choir

Today, Connor sang with the PCPC Children's Choir singing,  "Surely It is God who Saves Me" in church this morning.


We thought he sang very well and it is a joy to hear him sing.

The Grasshoppers and the Ants

Today, Connor performed in a play at school, The Grasshoppers and the Ants. Connor's role was Grasshopper #4 (Grasshopper #3 was sick, so Connor had a few extra lines, too).  We thought Connor did a terrific job!

Connor's Birthday 2013

Today, Connor celebrated his 7th birthday. with a poppyseed birthday cake with 7 (count all 7) candles. We have so much to celebrate!

Connor's Piano Recital 2013

About one year ago, Connor began taking piano lessions from Zilei Leite. He loves music and has taken his lessions very seriously. This afternoon, Connor performed three songs on the piano and one on the recorder at his first recital. We thought he performed very well and are so proud of him.

Football Season Begins

Yesterday, our family attended the Texas A&M versus Rice University football game at Kyle Field. We all enjoyed a very exciting (but also very hot, too!) time.

First Day of School 2013

Today was the first day of school for Connor (1st grade) and Avery (7th grade). They both woke up early and quickly dressed for school. After a delicious breakfast prepared by Shannon, they were off to school. They both enjoyed seeing their friends, meeting their new teachers and returning to the familiar school routine.

One down, 179 to go.

Rosemary Beach 2013

After picking Avery up from camp, we headed to Rosemary Beach for a week in the sun.

Pick Up From Camp Greystone 2013

Today, we picked Avery up from Camp Greystone. Avery had a wonderful time at Greystone with her friends from Dallas and elsewhere across the south.

Taylor Swift Concert 2013

Tonight, Avery and her friends were off to see Taylor Swift in concert. They were sooooo excited!!!

Connor Plays T-Ball

This spring, Connor has played T-ball with his classmates from Providence. Connor loves hitting, catching, throwing, running and just about anything else related to baseball. This has been a fun season!
