Neighborhood Easter Party

Today, our neighborhood association hosted an Easter Party (yes, I know Easter is next Sunday...). Avery got her face painted as a unicorn. Connor won the cake walk. Both had a lot of fun with confetti eggs. Happy Easter!

Visit to Dama

Four or five years ago, while visiting Dama, Avery found a box turtle in the backyard and painted a white letter "A" on its shell. This week, Connor found the same box turtle in the same backyard (the letter was a little faded) and touched up the letters. I guess turtles don't migrate very far. 

Connor's Soccer Season Begins

Today, Connor had his first soccer game of the 2012 season. As you can see below, Connor was very determined. His team won, 3-2. Connor and his friends had so much fun. 

Connor's First Necktie

Connor received a necktie for Christmas and he was determined to wear it to church today. Daddy helped him tie it. We thought he looked very handsome!

Avery's Basketball Game

Avery had a basketball game tonight. Although her team lost, she is getting better every week.

Merry Christmas!

Last night, we prepared for Jesus' birth with family worship at church followed by a tamale dinner and off to bed in anticipation of Santa Claus' visit. We woke up this morning to celebrate Jesus' birthday and open presents. Santa brought Avery and Connor cowboy boots and balls. Ho-ho-ho. Oh what fun!

Nutcracker and Nativity Ballet Recital

Tonight, Avery danced in a recital, "The Nutcracker and the Nativity" at McFarlin Auditorium. She was a Snowflake. Avery was beautiful and danced so well. Our family is so proud of her!
