Avery at Camp Greystone

Avery is in her second week at Camp Greystone. She has sent us letters telling us that she is having fun at camp. Also, see pictures below of Avery with some of her friends at camp. We are pretty sure she is having a good time!

Today, Shannon took Avery to Camp Greystone in Zirconia, North Carolina. This is Avery's 3rd year at Camp Greystone and her second year at June Camp. We thought she looked so grown up as Shannon dropped her off at camp this morning. Send her a letter at:

Avery at the Park Cities Track Meet

Today was the annual Park Cities YMCA track meet. Avery placed 4th in the high jump at 3 feet 6 inches. Wow! We are so proud of her!

Last Day of E-1

Yesterday was Connor's last day of E-1 (also known as Pre-K). The class celebrated with an end-of-the-year party and by reciting the poem, The Swing, by Robert Louis Stevenson: 

How do you like to go up in a swing,
   Up in the air so blue?
 Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing
   Ever a child can do!

 Up in the air and over the wall,
   Till I can see so wide,
 Rivers and trees and cattle and all
   Over the countryside--

 Till I look down on the garden green,
   Down on the roof so brown--
 Up in the air I go flying again,
   Up in the air and down!

First T-ball Game

Tonight was Connor's first T-ball game. He is playing on a team with a group of 11 boys who will all be in Kindergarten at Providence next year. Connor concentrated so hard and played so well. It is going to be a fun season!

Dance Recital

Last night, Avery danced at the 2012 Spring Recital for Dancing Angels. She was in a ballet and a jazz performance. She was so beautiful.

Connor Learns to Ride His Bike!

Today, Connor decided that he wanted to learn how to ride his bike without training wheels. After one 0r two attempts, he figured it out. He is so proud of his new accomplishment.
