Airshow

Connor and I went to an airshow at Love Field this afternoon. We had so much fun looking at the airplanes (Connor thought they were loud)!

These pictures reminded me about Avery's and my trip to see the planes back in April of 2006 (age 5 1/2):

Make-Up Soccer Game, April 8, 2010

Tonight, Avery had a make-up soccer game against the team from Hyer Elementary. Guess what? They tied, 1 - 1. The Providence/Armstrong team played great defense. We are all so proud of Avery!

Connor had fun, too!

Easter 2010

Happy Easter!

Today, Avery and the Armstrong/Providence team played a team from UP Elementary. Avery's team played well, but they lost. Avery had fun (which is most important, anyways). Happy Easter!

Soccer Game, March 27, 2010

Today was beautiful. Avery had a soccer game against a team from Bradfield Elementary School. Avery's team tried very hard, but didn't win. Avery had so much fun (and we thought she did great!).

Snow in Dallas

Who would have guessed it? On March 21, 2010 (the first day of Spring), we had 3 inches of SNOW at our home. It only lasted until mid-day, so we could only play for a little while after we arrived home from church. It was so fun while it lasted.

Avery's Soccer Game, March 6, 2010

This spring, Avery joined the Cheetahs, a soccer team at the local YMCA that includes several of her friends from Providence. This morning, Avery had her first soccer game. Unfortunately, it wasn't much of a game - the other team forfeited due to a lack of players. Her team had a scrimmage instead.

I thought Avery played great! She scored a goal and was always in the mix. Not bad for her first game. Avery was disappointed that it wasn't a real game, but she had fun anyways. Here are a few pictures from the game.
